What is Cricket Health?
Cricket Health is a technology and healthcare company that is committed to delivering the best possible kidney care for people living with kidney disease.
We connect you to some of the country's top kidney care professionals and to other patients and caregivers who know what you're going through. We're here to provide you with the help, guidance and support you need so that you can be more successful in managing this condition.
How will I benefit from having a Cricket team?
The Cricket team is here to support you in meeting the goals that you have set with your nephrologist. Cricket will help you learn about kidney disease from experts that you can trust. This knowledge will help you make the decisions that are right for you along the way. The Cricket team can guide you on the steps needed to prepare for a successful life with kidney disease. You will get access to a clinical team that includes an experienced dialysis nurse, dietitian, pharmacists and social worker who are all ready to provide support along an individualized plan for you. You will also interact with mentors, who are people just like you, living successful lives with kidney disease.
How does Cricket work with my doctor?
If your doctor referred you to Cricket, we will work closely with that doctor. Our team will collaborate with your doctor to determine the right treatment plan and we also make sure your doctor receives updates about your progress on Cricket.
If you found Cricket through our website or found us through another channel (but not through your doctor), our services are still available to you. If you want us to communicate with your doctor, feel free to send the doctor's contact information to email@example.com
What are Cricket's business hours?
You can explore our website at any time of day and on your schedule!
In the 'Chat' section, your care team members (Nurse, Dietitian, Pharmacist & Social Worker) are available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (Pacific Time). Before 9am or after 5pm, our care team will respond as soon as possible, and at the latest within one business day.
Remember that our platform is not for emergencies. If you think you have a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 immediately.
Can Cricket help me with an emergency?
The Cricket team can help avoid complications but if you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency you should call 911 or be seen in an emergency department as soon as possible.
Is my information private?
When participating in chats, group members will have access to only the information about you that you share. Group members can see each others' nickname and messages that are sent. Messages sent in a group are not shared outside of the group. Private messages, such as with your nurse, are only available to you and that person.
Can my family or caregivers participate with Cricket?
Yes they can. We often have family members and caregivers who want to participate with Cricket. Family members and caregivers are an important part of your life and so we want to make sure that they are part of our program.
